Mathematics

We have fully embraced the new Primary Mathematics Curriculum, placing active, engaging and meaningful mathematical learning at the heart of our approach.

Every classroom is equipped with an excellent range of tactile and concrete mathematical resources, giving pupils regular opportunities to explore concepts, develop understanding and solve problems through hands-on learning. We aim to build confident, curious mathematicians who can apply their learning in a wide variety of contexts.

The quality of teaching and learning in Mathematics was recognised during a Department of Education evaluation in 2025. The full inspection report can be viewed here.
