School Self-Evaluation

School Self-Evaluation

Committed to self-evaluation

Star of the Sea is committed to the process of school self-evaluation.

School self-evaluation is a collaborative, inclusive, and reflective process of internal school review. An evidence-based approach, it involves gathering information from a range of sources, and then making judgements.  For the current cycle of SSE (2024-2026), all schools including Star of the Sea must incorporate a wellbeing component to planned school improvements.  Star of the Sea’s School Improvement Plan was drawn up in consultation with pupils, parents and staff and has been approved by the Board of Management.
