Our Sixth Class debating team has reached the final four of the Dublin heats in the Concern Primary Schools Debating Competition. Reaching the semi-final is an achievement that the boys should be proud of. Our team prevailed in an exceptionally close contest against Solas Chríost National School. Our opponents were excellent and it took our best effort to win narrowly. The progress made by our debating team this year has only been possible with the support of their teachers, Mr O’Maonaile and Mr O’Brollacháin, our debating co-ordinators, Mr Collins and Ms Kavanagh, and the boys’ classmates in Sixth Class.
